Custom Beats and Music Collaboration Projects

For almost two decades, RaRa Beats’ producers have been creating special beats and instrumentals. Many of our projects are available for free non-profit uses, but we have specific licensing terms for our clients’ different commercial needs. We also produce custom beats and work on music collaboration ventures. Continue reading for more information.

Music Collaboration

How to Collaborate With RaRa Beats
Ever read the production credits on a hit record? A lot of them have multiple producers. That's because collaboration is one of the best ways to create opportunity. To collaborate, just send your ideas and MIDI stems in the email section below. A collaboration with us can open doors to placements, beat licensing revenue, and a shout out on the ‘Gram and Twitter (not to mention some cool video content... Scroll down for more info on that).
What Can You Do With the Beat?
Once the beat is done, you're free to do whatever you want with it–license, sell, upload to YouTube, etc., as long as you credit us with co-production. We will also actively seek placement opportunities for any track we collaborate on. If it's going up either in our beat store, yours, or both, revenue and pub will be split 50/50.
What Do You Send?
We love all music. Hopefully, you're somewhat familiar with our catalog and already know what you want us to add, but send a couple different ideas, and we can just pick one if that makes it easier. Go to our YouTube channel for more examples.
How to Send?
To send your files, WeTransfer the MP3 version of your beat with WAV stems/Trackouts to info@RaRaBeats.net. The more options, the better!
Can We Sell It in Your Beat Store?
Yes! We'll split 50% of the revenue with you.
Can I Request Changes?
You're entitled to two minor revisions after we send you our first version. That means basic melody or drum changes, arrangement edits, and other things that are pretty easy to do.
How Long Will It Take?
Typically, we can send something back within 72 hours. If we’re backed up with other projects and collaborations, it could take up to a week. Regardless, we'll keep you updated on it and you're always welcome to contact us via email. We’re good at keeping in touch.

Individual Package Details

Basic Rights (MP3 File) ($30.00)
When it comes to basic rights, this is the same type most artists are already aware of. It comes with the basic structures of what you need. If you’re familiar and buy beats online often, you have probably stumbled across these rights. We offer a lot more than our competitors with a basic lease. With a basic lease, you also gain the right to sell up to 3000 copies in mixtapes, albums, EPs, and shows. If you’re going to exceed this limit, we highly advise you to purchase a premium lease. Additionally, you are able to make one music video with this lease.
Premium Rights (MP3, WAV File, and WAV Trackout) ($60.00)
This is the better choice for those of you willing to pay the extra price. Premium rights actually come with the right to sell up to seven thousand five hundred units (7,500)! While still being relatively affordable, it comes with the premium rights you need. On top of that, you can make a little over seven grand ($7,500) USA dollars from performance revenues, and sell up to 7,500 copies, whether it’s mixtapes, albums, EPs, etc. Additionally, you will receive master WAV and MP3 file. You get to also make a music video with this lease.
PRO RIGHTS (MP3, WAV FILE, AND WAV TRACKOUT) ($100.00)
This lease is a great option if you want your track mixed to perfection. With each raw instrument and sound in the beat with no processing, you have full control of your overall mix to your song. For example, if you don't like how a percussive sound is panned, leveled or mixed, you can have your engineer correct this to your liking. Furthermore, if you want that kick or bass to hit harder, your engineer can use the kick stem from the trackouts and optimize it for your track. Additionally, get on up to two (2) radio stations’ rotation list. This is great for albums/mixtapes. You can get an even more professional sound with the trackouts (stems).
UNLIMITED RIGHTS (MP3, WAV FILE, AND WAV TRACKOUT) ($150.00)
This lease is a great option if you want unlimited everything, such as unlimited copies sold, music videos, streams, profitable shows, etc. This also comes with all the stems/trackouts. It is a bit pricier than the other leases, but it offers great value for the price.
EXCLUSIVE RIGHTS (VARIES PER BEAT) ($500.00 AND UP)
If you’re going to buy exclusive beats for sale, then you probably know as well as we do that it’s the best option for anybody. This is because we will actually stop selling instrumental once you’ve purchased these rights and full ownership is transferred. Though these are our most expensive products, there are a million and one reasons to jump for exclusives if you have the budget. If you’re interested in purchasing exclusive rights to any beats on our website, please contact us.
Please note, after you have received your order, there are no refunds available. Thank you.

Note: Signature (RaRa Beats) will be included in all Mp3 and WAV files. If you do not want any signature at all, we advise purchasing a WAV trackout.

The Difference Between Leasing and Exclusive Rights

One of the most common questions we receive from artists that are new to the beat leasing business is, "What's the difference between purchasing a ‘lease’ and purchasing ‘exclusive’ rights to a beat?" As natural problem solvers, we decided to quickly break down the differences and hopefully answer some of those questions here.
Leasing Rights
I want to rap/sing over your beat for my mixtape, and I don't care if other rappers rap on it.

When an artist "leases" a beat, they are granted access and limited rights to a producer's instrumental for a lower rate, for a limited time period (usually a year), and/or a limited amount of sales. An artist can extend the life of their lease as well as upgrade to more premium licensing options until the beat is sold exclusively. Multiple artists are also allowed to lease and sell the same instrumental for a given time period and/or until that instrumental is sold exclusively.

Leases are generally for artists looking for high-quality production to add to their mixtapes, EPs, freestyles, and other promotional content. Exclusives are generally suggested for artists working on albums.

We offer three leasing options: Mp3, WAV, and Trackouts. See our Licensing Terms for more info.
Exclusive Rights
I want to rap/sing over your beat for my album, and I want to be the last to buy it.

Exclusive rights grant an artist sole ownership of the instrumental with unlimited sales. Exclusive rights guarantee that the artist will be the last individual able to purchase and sell the beat. Every exclusive purchase is bound by a contract. Exclusives are generally more expensive but are a must-have for independent and major label artists expecting to sell a lot of units.

Frequently Asked Questions

If these do no answer your questions, feel free to contact us!
How can I buy your beats?
You can buy our beats by clicking the price of the beat in our Beat Store on our Home page. Select the license you need, and go on adding all other beats you want to purchase. After that, click on ‘Checkout’ and you will be redirected to PayPal, where you will be able to pay using your debit, credit card, or PayPal account. You will receive your downloads directly after the payment. Make sure you check your email and spam folder.
What do the different licenses mean?
Actually, it’s very easy. The leasing licenses work all the same (basic lease, premium lease, and premium trackouts). Leasing and premium mean that you are allowed to record your song and sell or distribute it in a limited number of times until you need to buy a new leasing license. Exclusive means that we will transfer the whole ownership to you. In that case, the beat isn’t eligible for purchase once the agreed fee has been paid and both parties have signed the contract. For more detailed information about our licensing please read our detailed Terms and Conditions.
What does a purchase at RaRaBeats.net include?
Each purchase includes a contract stating your rights of the ownership and the files in high-quality MP3 or WAV format. You will receive these files as an electronic download-link after your payment has been completed. If you purchase premium trackouts or exclusive rights, you will receive the beat in separated WAV audio files as well.
What payment methods do you offer?
We only accept PayPal payments. However, a PayPal Account is not needed when paying via credit or debit card. If you’d like to pay in a different way or looking for a payment plan, please contact us and we will let you know if this is possible.
I want to use a beat for my video(s) on YouTube. What do I have to do?
You can use our beats for your YouTube video(s) (background music) for free, as long as you link our website in the video description and if you don’t monetize your video. If you make profit of your video(s), you have to purchase a basic lease. This lease can be used for up to 250,000 views for a single video, or as a combination of several videos if it is used multiple times. Receiving more than 250,000 views means that a new lease has to be purchased.
Do you make custom beats?
Yes, we also make custom beats! Prices start at $195 USD and depend on the length and complexity of the track. If you have any more questions or want to request a custom beat, you will find more information as well as a contact form in the Custom Beats section. We also accept payment plans (50% prepayments and 50% upon completion).
Do you clear samples used in your beats?
Usually, we do not clear samples. Sample clearance is in the responsibility of the customer.
I have bought exclusive rights to a beat. Can it be leased again or has it been leased before?
Once exclusive rights to a beat have been sold, the beat may not be sold or leased anymore. However, it might be possible that a beat has been leased to several persons before it is sold exclusively.
Exclusive rights to a beat I leased previously have been sold. Do I need to worry about it?
No, as long as the distribution number described in your licensing contract is not reached, you won’t need to worry at all. If this point of sale is reached and/or further sales are desired, further rights with a new sales cap can to be obtained with a new license or license upgrade. License owners of any type of non-exclusive rights may upgrade their current license to the highest available non-exclusive license such as premium trackouts.
I made a song to one of your beats. Can I send it to you to get some feedback?
Sure! We are always happy to hear what our clients create on our beats. Send it to us to get some feedback, We might also share them on our social media if we really like it!
What does Trackouts mean?
Tracked out means you will receive the building blocks of the beat in multiple 16-bit, 44.1-kHz WAV files. This option opens the doors to mixing and editing the beat any way you want to. Most tracked-out beats are completely separated even down to the individual drum tracks.
